The Star Legend recently embarked on an 80-night voyage as part of Windstar Cruises’ Star Collector series.

Sailing to destinations in Northern and Western Europe, the Baltic, and the Mediterranean, the “Grand European Adventure” started in Sweden on July 15, 2016.

Before ending in Greece, the cruise will include visits to 66 destinations in 19 countries and territories, with highlights including longer stays in key destinations.

The Star Legend is scheduled to spend three nights docked in Bordeaux, France, as well as two days in Rouen, France.

Other overnight calls are scheduled for Helsinki, Finland; Invergordon, Scotland; Lisbon, Portugal; Seville, Spain; and Thessaloniki, Greece.

Additional highlights of the itinerary include visits to 16 destinations in the British Isles, as well as seven stops in Norway, featuring lesser-visited ports such as Froya Island and Andalsnes.

Upon arriving in the Greek Islands, the Star Legend is also scheduled to sail to off-the-beaten-path destinations, visiting Gythion, Monemvasia, Kavala, Volos, Skopelos and more.

As part of Windstar’s Star Collector program, the “Grand European Adventure” voyage combines a series of back-to-back cruises into a single itinerary.

According to the company, the initiative offers a more in-depth exploration of regions with 13-day-plus cruises that feature few or no repeated ports.

Windstar said that the voyages allow guests to make the most of their time with less unpacking and special features including complimentary laundry service.

After repositioning to the Mediterranean, the Star Legend is scheduled to offer additional cruises to the Greek Islands and Turkey, including an eight-night itinerary to the Corinth Canal.

The 312-passenger ship is then scheduled to reposition to Central America for the winter, offering a trans-Atlantic cruise to Bridgetown in mid-November.

In addition to the Caribbean, the vessel’s 2026-27 season also features itineraries to the Panama Canal and Costa Rica’s west coast.
