AIDA is hosting Rostock Seawolves basketball camps for children on two cruises this summer.
The camps will return for another edition this year, coming to the AIDAnova voyage August 1-8, 2026, and the AIDAmar sailing August 13-18, 2026.
Children aged 10-14 will be able to learn about techniques and tactics from Rostock Seawolves coach Domenik Reinboth and BBL professional DeAndre Lansdowne.
“Basketball thrives on emotion, community and enthusiasm – it is precisely this energy that we will bring onboard our ships in the summer of 2026 and make basketball an experience for our fans on land,” said Alexander Ewig, senior vice president marketing & sales at AIDA Cruises.
Another basketball highlight for the summer is the AIDA Basketball Day onboard the AIDAperla in Hamburg on August 29, 2026,
The event, which is part of the Orlando Magic Summer Tour, will feature NBA star Mickaël Piétrus and mascot “Stuff,” as well as talks and meet and greet with basketball professionals.
