MSC Cruises has announced the largest Venchi chocolate experience ever seen at sea aboard the MSC World Asia, its ship set to debut in the Mediterranean in December 2026.
Seating for more than 60 guests, the 300-square-meter venue is designed as a multi-sensory destination, combining retail, café and gelateria into one space located in the ship’s Galleria district on deck 6, MSC said in a press release.
Guests will be able to watch Venchi chocolate experts at work and step into the “chocolate lab” to create their own custom bars, while the café and lounge will offer Italian espresso and specialty beverages paired with Venchi chocolates.
A selection of freshly prepared croissants and crêpes will also be available from breakfast through the afternoon.
In the evening, guests can look forward to chocolate-infused cocktails and opt for Gelatoshakes or one of artisanal gelato flavors.
To mark the partnership, an exclusive new gelato flavor called “Crunchy Waves” has been designed, which will be available in selected Venchi stores worldwide from August 1-31.

Combining three layers, the gelato creates a “sand and sea” effect, with a creamy vanilla gelato base, topped with crunchy hazelnut biscuit and salted toffee pieces and finished with a blue spirulina layer.
It will be available aboard MSC Cruises’ Seaside Class ships that feature Venchi gelaterias starting in August and the MSC World Asia from December.
Furthermore, select Venchi stores including those in the United States, the United Kingdom, France and Italy will also offer the special gelato flavor.
Earlier this month, the cruise line also revealed new details of a Pan-Asian dining concept set to launch onboard the MSC World Asia.
