Crystal Offers First Look at Family and Outdoor Spaces on Crystal Grace

Crystal has released the renderings of family and outdoor spaces debuting on the Crystal Grace, its newest ship set to enter operation in 2028.

Currently under construction at Fincantieri, the ship is scheduled to embark on its eight-night inaugural voyage on June 11, 2028, from Civitavecchia (Rome) to Venice.

“Crystal Grace represents the future of exceptional luxury travel while honoring the elements our guests cherish most,” said Bernie Leypold, senior vice president of hotel operations for Crystal.

“As more families and multiple generations choose to travel together, we have thoughtfully expanded our offerings for younger guests while enhancing the outdoor spaces that make life at sea so memorable. These new venues create opportunities for connection, adventure and relaxation for guests of every age.”

Family Spaces

A dedicated youth area on deck 11 has been designed as a gathering place for younger guests, featuring a shallow pool, outdoor recreational games and areas for families to spend time together.

The all-new Waves Teen Center, also on deck 11, has been significantly expanded, creating what Crystal says is the largest teen space in its fleet.

Created for guests ages 13 to 17, the venue features a larger entertainment lounge with a large screen for gaming, movies and group activities, card and board game areas and a music and dance space with a sound system and dance floor.

The teen program will operate daily with dedicated programming and activities during peak family travel periods, including summer months and the holiday season.

Across the way will be the refreshed Fantasia Children’s Playroom for children ages 3 to 12.

Outdoor Spaces

Spanning the center of deck 10 as the largest pool in Crystal fleet will be the Seahorse Pool, featuring 140 loungers between deck 10 and 11 and a large outdoor LED screen.

The Crystal Grace will introduce 60 private cabanas on deck 11 for what Crystal says is the first time, overlooking the Seahorse Pool. They will be available on a first-come, first-served basis.

Cabanas

The ship will also feature a new poolside bar located on deck 10 midship, directly behind the main pool area.

A poolside bar will be added to another ship from Crystal’s fleet, the Crystal Serenity, during her upcoming drydock in October.
