Carnival Legend Embarks on 12-Night Cruise to Iceland

Carnival Legend

The Carnival Legend departed from the Port of Dover in England recently for a 12-night cruise to Iceland and the British Isles.

As part of the ship’s summer season in Northern Europe, the cruise will sail to seven destinations in the region.

In addition to port calls in Iceland, such as Reykjavik and Akureyri, the itinerary is also highlighted by less common destinations in the country, including Grundarfjordur and Djupivogur.

The cruise also features visits to ports of call in the British Isles, including Belfast and Kirkwall.

Before returning to Dover, the Carnival Legend will also stop at Stornoway, on the Isle of Lewis, which is part of Scotland’s Outer Hebrides.

Continuing its deployment in the region, the ship will then offer a series of nine- to 12-night cruises to a range of destinations, including the British Isles, the Baltic and the North Sea.

In early August, the Legend is also scheduled to offer a special Solar Eclipse voyage which will sail to ports in Spain, Portugal, France and Belgium.

Part of the Carnival Journeys program, the 11-night itinerary features stops at Zeebrugge, Le Havre, Le Verdon, Guernsey, Vigo, Porto and Lisbon. The ship will also be strategically positioned at sea for the eclipse on August 12, 2026.

In late August, the Carnival Legend will offer a repositioning cruise to Italy ahead of a late summer season in the Mediterranean.

Sailing from Civitavecchia, the Spirit-class vessel is scheduled to operate itineraries to the Greek Islands, Turkey, Croatia, Montenegro and Italy through late October.

In early November, the 2,100-passenger ship will kick off a transatlantic crossing to North America ahead of a winter season in the Caribbean.

Sailing from Tampa, the Legend will offer five- to eight-night itineraries to destinations in the Western Caribbean and the Bahamas.
