The Aroya recently sailed from its homeport in Saudi Arabia for a repositioning voyage to the Eastern Mediterranean.
Set to spend its second consecutive summer season in the region, the Aroya Cruises vessel is offering an eight-night cruise that sails to destinations in Egypt and Turkey.
The itinerary started in Jeddah and will include visits to Sharm el-Sheikh, Port Sokhna, Port Suez, Antalya and Bodrum before arriving in Istanbul.
Other highlights of the cruise include a full transit of the Suez Canal, which will be followed by the vessel’s arrival at the Galataport Cruise Terminal on June 6, 2026.
The Aroya is then scheduled to kick off a summer deployment in the Eastern Mediterranean that features a series of weeklong cruises to Egypt, Turkey and Greece.
Sailing roundtrip from Istanbul, the seven-night itineraries will visit a range of ports in the three countries, including Alexandria, Marmaris, Mykonos, Piraeus and Rhodes.
For its first sailing in the region, the Aroya is scheduled to offer an itinerary that sails to Egypt and Turkey, visiting Kas, Marmaris, Bodrum and Alexandria.
With nearly 15 departures, the season runs through mid-September, when the 3,400-passenger ship is scheduled to return to the Red Sea.
The vessel will return to its homeport in Jeddah via the Suez Canal, following an eight-night repositioning voyage.
Sailing to Turkey, Egypt and Saudi Arabia, the cruise is highlighted by visits to Bodrum, Marmaris, Port Suez and Sharm el-Sheikh. The 150,000-ton ship will then offer a series of short cruises from Jeddah through the end of 2026.
Aroya Cruises offered its first season in the Eastern Mediterranean in 2025, offering a series of similar itineraries to Greece, Turkey and Egypt.
At the time, the company said that the deployment marked a significant milestone in its expansion outside the Red Sea.
The season also marked the first time that Aroya offered its Arabian-inspired experience outside the Middle East region.
