American Cruise Lines’ ship the American Patriot made its Milwaukee debut.
The 130-guest ship which entered service last year arrived at Pier Wisconsin on June 24 at 8 a.m. and is scheduled to depart the following day at 2 p.m.
The city’s Mayor Cavalier Johnson welcomed the cruise line to the city as it kicks off its inaugural Great Lakes itineraries, according to a statement by the Port of Milwaukee.
Milwaukee will be a turnaround port during two of these itineraries, with eight calls, all turnaround visits, scheduled for the season.
The port’s 2026 cruise season, which started on April 23 and will run through the end of October, is projected to be record-breaking with traffic expecting to nearly triple this year.
Over 20,000 passengers are expected to visit, with 63 cruise vessel calls, spread between eight ships.
