AIDA Cruises has unveiled two themed cruises sailing in January 2027: “AIDA Dances” and “Crime & Sea.”
In a press release, the cruise line said the former will sail aboard the AIDAcosma in the Canary Islands and the latter on the AIDAnova following what it calls the metropolitan route from/to Hamburg.
“AIDA Dances” returns for its fourth sailing January 16–23, 2027, departing from/to Gran Canaria, around the Canary Islands to Madeira.
It will feature workshops and entertainment program with professional dancers, including those from the TV show “Let’s Dance.”
The headliners include juror and dance expert Joachim Llambi and entertainer Ross Antony, accompanied by Ekaterina Leonova, Malika Dzumaev, Mariia Maksina, Patricija and Alexandru Ionel, Renata and Valentin Lusin and more.
Free dance classes for various experience levels will be offered at venues including the Cube and the Beach Club, covering standard and Latin dances such as cha-cha-cha, tango or foxtrot, as well as modern formats.
These will be complemented by show performances and evening events.
Prices start at €615 per person (premium price, two-person occupancy inside cabin, including early bird discount).
The 2026 edition of the cruise sailed Jan. 17–24, 2026, on the AIDAcosma.
The seven-day “Crime & Sea” cruise will take place January 23–30, 2027, with an onboard program covering various true crime elements.
The itinerary includes stops in several European cities, including London (Southampton), Paris (Le Havre), Brussels (Zeebrugge) and Rotterdam.
Experts will provide insights into real and fictional criminal cases as well as into investigative work and forensics.
Personalities from the fields of literature, podcasts and drama, whose names will be announced at a later date, will also host readings, lectures and interactive formats opening up different perspectives on the topic of crime.
There will also be workshops in which guests can deepen their knowledge about individual aspects of criminal work – such as crime scene analysis, securing evidence or crime reconstruction.
Corresponding crime shore excursions will be offered.
Prices start at €775 per person (premium price, two-person occupancy inside cabin).
