The maiden arrival of the Seabourn Encore in Vancouver marked the start of Seabourn’s 2026 Alaska season and the first time the ship will sail in the region.

According to a statement, the ship will operate 17 voyages between Vancouver and Juneau ranging from seven to 14 days between May and September 2026.

As previously reported, each of these can be combined to make 14- or 15-day voyages.

“The arrival of Seabourn Encore in Alaska is an important milestone for Seabourn,” said Mark Tamis, president of Seabourn.

“The ship is exceptionally well suited for this destination with her size and design allowing guests to have a more immersive experience in Alaska and bringing them closer to the landscapes, wildlife and communities that make Alaska so compelling.”

A dedicated Expedition Team of naturalists, historians and wilderness experts will provide lectures onboard, and optional expedition excursions are also available as part of the Ventures by Seabourn program.

Furthermore, the cruise line said the ship’s inaugural Alaska season introduces its first regionally inspired culinary program.

This means that Alaska-inspired dining, beverage and on-deck experiences will be available, including the Surf & Sear Sailaway, Alaskan Seafood Boil, Fisherman’s Table and a Midnight Sun Dinner.

Specialty cocktails crafted with Alaska glacial ice and local spirits will also be offered.
