Seville Cruise Port witnessed a “bow-to-bow” berthing of two ships at Muelle de las Delicias.
According to a statement, the milestone took place on May 9 and 10 between the Scenic Eclipse I and Scenic Eclipse II.
“Seeing both Scenic Eclipse yachts docked together in Seville is a proud moment for our team and a clear indicator of the port’s potential,” said Beatrice Rasmini, general manager of Seville Cruise Port.
“This operation demonstrates our ability to handle complex, high-profile calls while providing the personalized, high-quality service that ultra-luxury lines expect.”
Fleet Captain Erwan Le Rouzic added: “Seeing Scenic Eclipse and Scenic Eclipse II together in Seville is a proud and symbolic moment for Scenic. Sharing this occasion in such a beautiful and historic destination makes it especially meaningful for our guests and crew.
“We are sincerely grateful to the Port of Seville for their partnership and support in creating an experience that our guests will remember for years to come.”
This event is seen as a highlight of the 2026 season, in which nearly 90 calls are scheduled.
The arrival of Azamara Cruises’ Journey opened the season in February.
The port is set to undergo modernization as part of a €5 million investment plan between Global Ports Holding Limited (GPH) and Ocean Platform Marinas (OPM).
The duo won a 25-year concession agreement for its operation late last year.
