The Azamara Journey has become the second Azamara Cruises ship to debut new onboard entertainment developed in partnership with RWS Global.
Two exclusive new productions were launched during the Spain Intensive Cruise visiting Barcelona, Ibiza & Majorca, departing on May 21, 2026, the cruise line said in a press release.
“Entertainment is an essential part of the onboard experience, and we’re excited to continue evolving our programming aboard Azamara Journey,” said Simon Blacoe, vice president of hotel operations at Azamara Cruises.
“These new productions bring together incredible talent, memorable music, and immersive storytelling to create dynamic performances that guests can enjoy throughout their sailing.”
Shows exclusive to the Journey are:
- Rendezvous in Paris – A cabaret show set to music from Moulin Rouge and Édith Piaf, featuring couture costumes inspired by the Lido de Paris. The production includes audience interaction and focuses on Parisian themes.
- Cinemaphonic – A musical revue combining classic Hollywood-era styles with contemporary pop music.
The first ship to feature new entertainment was the Pursuit in late April.
There will also be two fleetwide shows: “Written in the Stars” and “Vinyl Records: The Studio Sessions,” coming to the Azamara Quest on November 26, 2026, and the Azamara Onward on April 13, 2027.
