Azamara Cruises has unveiled a new lineup of original stage productions developed in partnership with RWS Global to be introduced across its fleet.
It includes two brand-new shows exclusive to the Pursuit and two shows to be gradually rolled out across the fleet: the Journey on May 21, 2026, Quest in November 2026 and Onward in March 2027.
According to a press release, the Pursuit was the first member of the fleet to debut the new experiences during the Japan Intensive Cruise visiting Kobe, Nagasaki and Tokyo on April 10, 2026.
“At Azamara Cruises, our commitment to Destination Immersion extends to every aspect of the guest experience including our evenings onboard,” said Simon Blacoe, vice president of hotel operations at Azamara.
“As the first ship to introduce this new entertainment program, Azamara Pursuit sets the stage for a new era of onboard experiences—bringing the energy, creativity, and cultural richness of the destinations we visit directly to life through high-energy performances.”
The Pursuit-exclusive shows are:
- Viva Vegas
This 40-minute theatrical concert reimagines the golden age of Las Vegas lounge acts for today’s audiences, combining Rat Pack-inspired details with modern pop flair.
- Yesterday, Today and Forever
This immersive tribute celebrates the journey and cultural impact of The Beatles through music, interactive staging and period-inspired costumes.
Debuting on the Azamara Onward, Quest and Journey will be:
- Written in the Stars – a theatrical journey featuring two star-crossed lovers,
- Vinyl Records: The Studio Sessions – a show with dancers and live musicians set within a vintage recording studio.
