Cruise Industry News takes a closer look at the highlights of Regent Seven Seas Cruises’ recently announced 2028-29 voyage collection.
Africa & Arabia with the Seven Seas Explorer
The Seven Seas Explorer will visit Africa and Arabia for the first time during the 2028-29 season, with three voyages ranging from 14 to 23 nights.
Regent said that the deployment in the region is highlighted by three overnight calls and a Cape Town roundtrip voyage. The season will feature visits to destinations such as Abidjan, Ivory Coast; Walvis Bay, Namibia; São Tomé, São Tomé and Príncipe; and Luanda, Angola.
Alaska with the Seven Seas Splendor
Sailing in the region for the first time, the Seven Seas Splendor will offer 16 new voyages to Alaska that visit ports like Icy Strait Point, Skagway and Juneau.
Asia with the Seven Seas Splendor
The Seven Seas Splendor will also sail to Asia, with a series of 24 eight- to 19-night itineraries in the region.
Six roundtrip Tokyo voyages are included in the deployment, as well as other itineraries visiting Hue/Da Nang, Vietnam; Bangkok (Laem Chabang), Thailand; and Hong Kong, China.
Australia & New Zealand with the Seven Seas Explorer and the Seven Seas Mariner
Australia and New Zealand will be visited by two ships: the Seven Seas Explorer and the Seven Seas Mariner.
The ships will offer six cruises in the region, with ten- to 21-night itineraries that are highlighted by scenic cruising through the fjords of Doubtful, Dusky and Milford Sounds in New Zealand.
Canada & New England with the Seven Seas Prestige
After entering service later this year, the new Seven Seas Prestige will make its debut in Canada and New England for a fall foliage season in 2028.
The season in North America’s East Coast includes five 11-night cruises that are said to take advantage of the region’s colors and landscapes.
Caribbean & Panama Canal
Three Regent fships will offer 28 cruises in the Caribbean and the Panama Canal during the 2028-29 season.
Sailing from Miami, Bridgetown, Los Angeles and Galveston, the itineraries will take place onboard the Seven Seas Prestige, the Seven Seas Grandeur and the Seven Seas Mariner.
Mediterranean with 4
Four ships will sail 63 voyages to different parts of the Mediterranean, with itineraries ranging from seven to 21 nights.
In a first for the Seven Seas Voyager, the collection will also include a winter season in the region starting November 2028. Further highlights include a new port of call with the addition of Šibenik, Croatia.
Northern Europe with the Seven Seas Prestige and More
Regent will also offer 33 itineraries in Northern Europe onboard the Prestige, the Explorer, the Voyager or the Mariner.
The cruises range from nine to 14 nights and include destinations in Iceland, the Norwegian Fjords, France, the United Kingdom and more. The season will also include two new ports of call in Dundee, Scotland; and Oulu, Finland.
South America with the Seven Seas Mariner
The Seven Seas Mariner will return to South America for three itineraries. Sailing to the Amazon River, the Antarctic Peninsula and more, the deployment features eight- to 25-night cruises highlighted by visits to Rio de Janeiro, Brazil; Montevideo, Uruguay; and Buenos Aires, Argentina.
South Pacific with the Explorer and Mariner
Two ships, the Seven Seas Explorer and the Seven Seas Mariner, will offer 18- to 21-night cruises in the South Pacific during the 2028-29 winter season.
Regent said that the itineraries include overnights in French Polynesia, as well as visits to Easter Island and Tahiti.

During the 2028-2029 season, guests will have opportunities to cross the Atlantic Ocean onboard three Regent ships.
The deployment includes a crossing from Southampton to Montreal onboard the Seven Seas Prestige, as well as up to 10 sea days.
Grand Voyage
Regent said that its Grand Voyages offer itineraries ranging from 62 to 101 nights and were designed to “trace the paths of history,” sailing to four continents.
The cruises also offer 14 overnight stays across destinations in Africa, Asia, Australia & New Zealand and Europe.
2029 World Cruise
Regent’s 2029 World Cruise, Eras of Exploration will sail to the Amazon, Antarctica, the South Pacific, Australia, Southeast Asia and more.
The months-long cruise will end in Rome after also exploring the Indian Ocean, the Mediterranean and more.
