Royal Caribbean International announced that the Quantum of the Seas will return to Singapore for the 2027-28 winter season.
According to a press release, the vessel will offer a series of three- to ten-night cruises in Southeast Asia between October 2027 and March 2028.
The itineraries will feature visits to destinations in Malaysia, Thailand, Vietnam, Hong Kong and Japan from what the company called one of Asia’s best-connected hubs.
“The Quantum of the Seas has become a familiar and much-loved ship for guests across Asia, and we’re excited to bring these thrilling adventures back to Singapore,” said Chad Grospe, vice president and managing director, Asia-Pacific, Royal Caribbean.
“With these 2027-28 holidays, we’re building on the strong demand we’ve seen over past seasons – from three- and four-night getaways to longer adventures that connect vacationers to spectacular landscapes, cuisines and cultural wonders around Asia.”
The ship’s three- to five-night itineraries will visit destinations in Southeast Asia, including George Town in Penang, as well as Bangkok and Phuket in Thailand.
The Quantum will also offer longer sailings of up to ten nights to destinations like Ho Chi Minh City, Vietnam, and Hong Kong. Other itineraries will sail to Japan, visiting Tokyo, Nagoya and Kobe.
Royal Caribbean also highlighted the features of the vessel, which was built by the Meyer Werft shipyard and entered service in 2014.
The company said that the ship offers a range of attractions for thrill-seekers, including the Ripcord by iFly skydiving simulator, the FlowRider surf simulator and a rock-climbing wall.
Other highlights of the 4,222-passenger vessel include a series of dining venues, such as the Chops Grille steakhouse, Chef’s Table and Izumi Sushi.
The Quantum of the Seas replaces the Navigator of the Seas, which will sail from Singapore during the 2026-27 winter season.
Debuting in the homeport, the Voyager-class ship offers cruises departing from the Marina Bay Cruise Center from October 2026 to March 2027.
