AIDA to Sail to Celebration Key in 2027

  • February 16, 2026
AIDAluna

AIDA Cruises will make its inaugural call to Celebration Key on Nov. 15, 2027, according to the company’s published deployment.

After marking the brand’s return to the U.S. East Coast, the AIDAluna will visit Carnival Cruise Line’s private destination as part of a repositioning cruise.

Sailing to La Romana in the Dominican Republic, the 14-night cruise is set to depart from New York City on November 5, 2027.

In addition to Celebration Key, the itinerary features visits to Bermuda, Miami, Grand Turk and Arroyo Barril.

Following the repositioning cruise, the AIDAluna is scheduled to offer a series of cruises in the Caribbean departing from the Dominican Republic and Barbados.

Two additional vessels, the AIDAbella and the AIDAprima, will join the ship in the region for the 2027-28 winter.

AIDA will become the third of the Carnival Corporation brands to visit Celebration Key. In addition to Carnival Cruise Line, Princess Cruises will also sail to the destination, which opened in mid-2025.

Located on Grand Bahama Island, the property is currently undergoing an expansion project with the addition of new berths and additional features.

As previously reported by Cruise Industry News, the AIDAluna will offer cruises departing from New York City during the fall of 2027.

The itineraries will sail along the U.S. East Coast and the Bahamas, visiting Miami, Port Canaveral, Norfolk and more.

The sailings are part of AIDA’s 2027-28 winter season, which will also include itineraries in the Canary Islands, Northern Europe, the Caribbean, South America, the Indian Ocean and South Africa.

Other highlights include the “big winter breaks” onboard the AIDAmar, which offers roundtrip cruises to warmer destinations departing from Germany.

The ship’s lineup includes a 48-day itinerary to Brazil and South America, in addition to a 21-day journey to the Azores and Morocco.
