Norwegian Cruise Line is bringing back its Free at Sea Plus package, according to a recent press release.

The company stated that the return takes its Free at Sea program “to the next level, giving travelers even more ways to enjoy a seamless, stress-free cruise.”

With prices starting at $49.99 per person per day, the package is said to offer enhanced amenities, such as unlimited Starbucks beverages and unlimited streaming Wi-Fi.

Free at Sea Plus also offers premium and additional beverage choices, including top-shelf spirits, such as Patrón Añejo and the Macallan 12 YO, as well as wines and champagne by the glass from Norwegian’s signature collection.

Other additions included with the package are bottled water, energy drinks and fresh juices, as well as 50 percent discounts on any additional specialty dining cover charges.

By opting for the enhanced package, guests will also be able to enjoy unlimited beverages at Great Stirrup Cay, the cruise line’s private island destination in the Bahamas.

As previously reported by Cruise Industry News, Norwegian will stop honoring its regular beverage packages at the cruise port starting in March 2026.

“Combined with Free at Sea’s existing inclusions — specialty dining, unlimited open bar onboard the ship, high-speed Wi-Fi powered by Starlink, and shore excursion credits — Free at Sea Plus means even fewer logistics to manage, total budget control and more time to relax,” the company said.

Starting on Dec. 18, 2025, the new package will be available for sailings departing from Feb. 1, 2026.

The return of Free at Sea Plus was announced along with Norwegian’s deployment for the 2027-28 winter season.

According to a press release, the company will offer over 370 cruises across the Caribbean, the Bahamas, the Mexican Riviera, Asia, Australia and New Zealand.

The schedule includes seven ships sailing from Florida, as well as two of the company’s newest vessels, the Norwegian Viva and the Norwegian Prima, sailing from Puerto Rico.

Norwegian is also offering cruises from Los Angeles, New Orleans, Galveston, Jacksonville and Philadelphia in 2027-28.
