Crescent Seas unveiled a new customization program for its newbuild, The Ocean, along with a reimagined Crescent Seas Design Studio.
According to a press release, the new initiatives were announced during the ILTM Cannes 2025 and are said to mark the next evolution in the brand’s “mission to redefine what it means to live and thrive at sea.”
After dropping plans to charter the Seven Seas Navigator and the Insignia from Norwegian Cruise Line Holdings, Crescent Seas is now aiming to launch a newbuild, The Ocean, in 2031.
The company stated that the vessel will offer fully personalized homes at sea that will meet a growing demand from buyers.
Residences onboard The Ocean start at $3 million and are available for full customization, allowing owners the ability to personalize layouts, finishes and features in collaboration with design partners.
Through the new Crescent Seas Customization Program, future owners can tailor every detail of their onboard residences, from wrap-around balconies and outdoor showers to dual vanities, full kitchens and flexible multi-room layouts ideal for family living and entertaining.
“Our residents aren’t seeking sameness; they want a space that mirrors their lifestyle and aspirations,” said Crescent Seas’ CEO, Thatcher Brown.
“Whether traveling solo, as a couple, or with family across generations, their home at sea should feel deeply personal and an authentic reflection of who they are,” he added.
In Miami, Crescent Seas has reimagined its sales gallery into the new Crescent Seas Design Studio.
The space is described as “an immersive hub” where potential buyers can “step into the world of Crescent Seas and co-create their homes at sea in person.”
The studio offers a preview of life aboard, showcasing materials, layouts and finishes, along with key amenities, including a private butler with exceptional service and attention to detail.
Crescent Seas is backed by real estate giant Crescent Heights, which is said to bring its expertise from land to sea.
According to the press release, the company will offer the “best of yacht living, the freedom to travel, and flexibility to live, without the constraints of ownership.”
