f The World, Residences at Sea, announced the appointment of Odalys Cadenas as vice president of human resources.
In her role, Cadenas will oversee human resources, training and development for the company’s global workforce of over 400 staff, including its Fort Lauderdale office and aboard the ship. She will manage crew welfare, benefits, employment compliance and logistics, including visas, contracts, union negotiations, payroll and risk management.

Her track record of successfully leading HR teams in both large and small organizations, managing multi-location and global responsibilities, positions her as a valuable asset to The World.”
Before joining The World, Cadenas served as AVP of Strategy and HR Operations at Carnival Cruise Lines. She has held leadership roles at Crystal Cruises, Costa Cruises, Cunard and Seabourn.
