Virgin Voyages is cancelling four cruises scheduled to take place onboard the Valiant Lady during the 2025-26 winter season.
Affected voyages include sailings from Puerto Rico that were set to depart on Nov. 22 and Dec. 2, 2025, as well as Jan. 31 and Feb. 10, 2026.
“We are reaching out to let you know that, unfortunately, we had to cancel your upcoming voyage with us,” Virgin said in a statement sent to booked guests.
“We understand that vacation plans are precious, and disruptions like this can be disappointing and inconvenient. And for this, we are truly sorry,” the company continued.
Departing from Puerto Rico, the Valiant Lady was set to offer ten- and 11-night cruises to the Southern Caribbean during the cancelled cruises.
Itineraries featured visits to various destinations, including Antigua, St. Lucia, St. Vincent, Barbados, Cartagena de Indias, Curaçao, Aruba, Tortola and St. Kitts.
Passengers on the cancelled sailings will be able to move their bookings to similar sailings onboard the new Brilliant Lady.
“We’re committed to giving you the best and most flexible choices to make sure you have an amazing getaway at sea soon,” Virgin said.
Guests can choose between four 11- and 12-night cruises that depart from Miami between November 2025 and February 2026.
In addition to protecting the fare of the original cruise, Virgin is offering $100 onboard credit per person for passengers who opt to move their bookings.
Those who opt not to rebook their cruises will receive a full refund, either in cash or in the form of a Future Cruise Credit (FCC).
Guests will also receive $100 per person onboard credit if using the FCC to book select sailings from Puerto Rico onboard the Valiant Lady within 60 days.
Repositioning from PortMiami, the Valiant Lady arrives in San Juan for a winter season in early November.
During the 2025-26 winter season, the 2,770-guest vessel offers a series of seven-night cruises to the Southern Caribbean.
