TUI announced in a press release that between March 2-16, more than 2,000 travel agents had the opportunity to experience the Mein Schiff Relax over four “Together at Sea” sailings, which took place before the ship’s christening.
TUI said it invited its sales partners to the four “Together at Sea” voyages from Palma or Barcelona, and that the sailings included an onboard training and entertainment program.
Clas Eckholt, vice president of commercial at TUI, said: “The commissioning of our new feel-good ship Mein Schiff Relax is a significant milestone for us and our sales partners, who are at the heart of our growth course.”
“It is all the more pleasing that all four introductory cruises were immediately booked out and that more than 2,000 partners took advantage of the opportunity to get a personal impression of our new feel-good ship before the christening,” added Eckholt.
“Their experiencing, discovering and exploring the Mein Schiff Relax creates the best basis for successful discussions in order to sell our new flagship even more convincingly.”
The Mein Schiff sales team created a program featuring ship tours, presentations and an interactive ship rally that guests participated in on their smartphones.
At the “Relaxing Rocks Rally,” sales partners could explore all areas of the ship at their own pace and win a free cabin for two people.
The press release said that guest stars such as DJ Ötzi, Alex Christensen, Melissa Naschenweng, Boerney, DJ Mokaby, Mitchy and André Katawazi joined the guests onboard.
