Queen Anne and Queen Elizabeth Meet in Hong Kong

Double Queen Call

Cunard’s newest ship, the Queen Anne, met the Queen Elizabeth for the first time as both ships docked in Hong Kong, the company announced in a press release.

The Queen Anne arrived at Kai Tak Cruise Terminal on March 18 at 7 a.m., followed by the Queen Elizabeth the next day at 8 a.m.

Currently sailing its 107-night maiden world voyage from Southampton, the Queen Anne is visiting 30 ports across 18 countries before returning home next month. Meanwhile, the recently refurbished Queen Elizabeth is sailing a nine-night voyage to Yokohama, arriving on March 29.

Captain Inger Thorhauge commands the Queen Anne, while Captain Aureliano Mazzella is at the helm of the Queen Elizabeth.
