MGM Expands Benefits with Royal Caribbean and Celebrity

MGM Rewards is introducing new program enhancements, including Milestone Rewards, expanded Marriott Bonvoy tier matching, enhanced benefits with Royal Caribbean and Celebrity Cruises and the launch of an MGM Rewards eGift card.

A new credit card is also set to debut soon, according to a press release.

“We are elevating our rewards program and creating more ways than ever to earn and enjoy benefits across the world and at sea,” said Anil Mansukhani, MGM Resorts’ vice president of loyalty Marketing. “MGM Rewards’ next evolution of enhancements unlocks new benefits for members at every tier. We listened to feedback from our members and wanted to recognize and reward guests’ advancements throughout every level, which is our central focus in delivering a best-in-class loyalty experience.”

Highlights of the new additions to MGM Rewards include:

Marriott Bonvoy Tier Matching Enhancements

  • Pearl: Now matches to Marriott Bonvoy Silver Elite
  • Gold: Now matches to Marriott Bonvoy Gold Elite
  • Platinum: Continues to match Marriott Bonvoy Gold Elite
    NOIR: Matches to Marriott Bonvoy Ambassador Elite, Marriott’s highest tier
  • All members gain benefits at 10,000+ Marriott locations, including late checkout, room upgrades and welcome gifts.

   

Enhanced Royal Caribbean and Celebrity Cruises Benefits

  • Platinum and NOIR members receive upgraded staterooms, expanded itinerary options and longer cruise choices through the Annual Cruise Benefit.
  • Gold members now qualify for the Annual Cruise Benefit.
  • All MGM Rewards members receive a new Onboard FreePlay benefit, based on tier status, when sailing on an MGM Rewards loyalty offer, certificate offer, or group cruise.

 

Additionally, Milestone Rewards allow members to earn benefits between tier achievements. Members can also take advantage of Rollover Tier Credits, which help accelerate status by carrying over up to 25,000 Tier Credits into 2026. To qualify, members must earn 50,000 Tier Credits in 2025 to carry over 7,500 credits or 125,000 Tier Credits to carry over an additional 17,500.

Members will also receive Tier Celebration Credits upon reaching each status. Gold members receive a $100 credit for hotel, dining, spa, or entertainment experiences. Platinum members receive a $200 credit plus up to $600 in airfare to Las Vegas, Beau Rivage, or Borgata. NOIR members receive a $500 credit and up to $1,200 in airfare.

The new MGM Rewards eGift Card offers access to gift experiences at 20 MGM Resorts destinations, including Bellagio, ARIA, MGM Grand and Mandalay Bay in Las Vegas, as well as Borgata in Atlantic City, Beau Rivage in Mississippi, and MGM National Harbor in Maryland.

To celebrate its launch, eligible MGM Rewards members will receive an exclusive offer on eGift Card purchases. The card can be used at participating retail locations, restaurants, bars and spas across MGM Resorts properties and can also be applied toward hotel stays.
