National Geographic-Lindblad Expeditions announced in a press release that it has launched a series of chartered voyages exploring Indonesia aboard the Aqua Blu.
The company said that the charter of the explorer yacht expands Lindblad Expeditions’ expedition cruise portfolio with the launch of the new dive-centric program.
“Indonesia, in particular, has captured the imagination of travelers, with growing interest reflected in its inclusion on The New York Times’ 52 Places to Go list this year,” said Trey Byus, chief expedition officer of Lindblad Expeditions.
“Our guests are naturally curious and drawn to places that inspire discovery, and the addition of the Aqua Blu will allow us to bring our travelers even closer to the wild beauty and rich cultural heritage of Indonesia like never before,” he added.
“I believe there is no better way for travelers to dive deep into the wonders Indonesia has to offer than these unforgettable itineraries.”
The press release said that with the addition of the Aqua Blu, the Lindblad Expeditions’ fleet now consists of 22 mission-built expedition ships that it sells and operates on behalf of the National Geographic-Lindblad Expeditions co-brand.
