Royal Caribbean Informs Guests of Berthing Conflict at CocoCay

Adventure in Cabo Rojo

Royal Caribbean International informed guests set to sail onboard the Adventure of the Seas on Aug. 16, 2025, of a berthing conflict in Perfect Day at CocoCay.

Sailing from Port Canaveral, the ship is scheduled to offer a six-night cruise to the Western Caribbean that originally included visits to destinations in Jamaica, Haiti and the Bahamas.

“Due to a berthing conflict at Perfect Day at CocoCay, we’ve adjusted our itinerary, and we’ll now visit George Town, Grand Cayman,” the company said in a statement sent to booked guests.

“While we know it’s not the itinerary we planned, we’re excited to explore this new destination together,” Royal Caribbean continued.

The company is offering passengers credit that can be used for onboard purchases, which will be applied per stateroom.

Interior and ocean cabins will receive $50 onboard credit, while balcony staterooms will receive $75 and suites $100.

An additional $25 for each third or more guests will be applied, the company said in its statement.

Royal Caribbean also warned guests that the Adventure of the Seas will use tenders to disembark its guests in George Town.

“Tenders are accessible for guests who use collapsible wheelchairs and who can take a few steps,” the company added.

Full-time mobility scooter or wheelchair users who are unable to take a few steps may be unable to go ashore, Royal Caribbean said.

“We are sorry for any impact to your vacation,” the company added.

In addition to George Town, the six-night cruise is scheduled to visit the port of Falmouth in Jamaica, as well as Royal Caribbean’s private destination in Haiti, Labadee.

Sailing from Port Canaveral on a year-round basis, the Adventure of the Seas offers a series of six- to ten-night cruises to the Western, Southern and Eastern Caribbean.
