Quark Confirms Charter of World Voyager

World Voyager

Quark Expeditions will charter the World Voyager from Atlas Ocean Voyages for three Antarctica seasons, starting with the 2026-27 program, the company confirmed today.

It replaces the World Explorer, which will transfer to Windstar Cruises.

The ship will offer the company’s Science & Discovery Program, which will play an integral role in all World Voyager departures.

Quark said this program offers guests the unique opportunity to engage directly with scientists and researchers and participate in citizen science activities with the expedition team to collect and record data.

Activities include conducting seabird surveys on deck, documenting whale sightings, and participating in interactive water sampling activities to measure environmental conditions, according to a press release.
