Holland America Line is hosting free Alaska Cruise and Travel Shows in Seattle and Vancouver, giving travelers a chance to learn about Alaska cruises.
The Seattle event will take place on March 8, 2025, at Bell Harbor International Conference Center, and the Vancouver event on March 15, 2025, at the Vancouver Convention Centre. Both events run from 9 a.m. to 4 p.m.
Attendees can meet experts, experience live demonstrations and participate in activities like gold panning and axe throwing to get a taste of an Alaskan adventure.
“As our two main homeports to reach Alaska, it’s important for us to showcase to Vancouver and Seattle locals how we’ve built a program providing more opportunities for glacier viewing and more ways to see Alaska’s wildlife than any other line,” said Bill Fletcher, senior director of consumer programs for Holland America Line. “Once again, we’ve brought together a collection of authentic Alaska experts who can answer questions and demonstrate the many splendors of the region. This is a great event for anyone thinking about an Alaska cruise and even guests who are already booked.”
At each show, attendees can enter to win one of six $500 gift cards and a grand prize of a Holland America Line Alaska cruise for two. Those who book an Alaska cruise or Cruisetour at the event will receive reduced deposits and onboard credit. Shore excursion team members will be available to discuss Alaska options, and guests with a booked cruise can customize their vacation by adding amenities such as beverage packages and specialty dining.
The Alaska Cruise and Travel Show will feature:
- Axe throwing demonstrations by Lumberjack Will “Buck Randy” Randall.
- Gold panning with the chance to take home a nugget at the Gold Dredge 8 booth.
- Cooking demonstrations from Holland America Line chefs showcasing Alaskan dishes.
- Wildlife and nature tips from an onboard expert.
