JRE-Jeunes Restaurateurs chef Alexandre Ciriello will join Swan Hellenic’s SH Diana for a 10-day voyage from Portsmouth, England, to Dublin, Ireland.
During the Spirit of the Celts journey, sailing from May 21 to June 1, 2025, Chef Ciriello will present a curated culinary program featuring regional flavors and modern techniques.
Guests will experience a gala dinner with a multi-course menu crafted by Chef Ciriello, incorporating locally sourced ingredients. A live cooking demonstration will offer insight into his techniques and approach to innovative cuisine. Additionally, gastronomic excursions will provide opportunities to explore the food traditions of the British Isles.
The Spirit of the Celts sailing explores the British Isles’ landscapes and cultural heritage. Destinations include Fowey, Tresco, Bantry, Dingle, Galway, Killybegs, Stornoway and Portrush, with excursions such as coastal drives, kayaking in Dingle Bay and visits to historic sites.
Chef Ciriello, a member of JRE-Belgium, trained at the Pierre Romeyer Hotel School and worked with renowned chefs Yves Mattagne, Peter Goossens and Maxime Colin. He further refined his skills at The Jane in Antwerp and gained recognition as a finalist on Objectif Top Chef. In 2017, at age 20, he opened L’Horizon, a fine-dining restaurant in Belgium.
Swan Hellenic’s 2025 Maris sailings will feature 10 JRE-Jeunes Restaurateurs chefs, including Chef Ciriello from Belgium, alongside chefs from Switzerland, the Netherlands, Spain, Italy, Austria and Germany.
