Carnival Cruise Line updated the itineraries of three cruises scheduled to take place onboard the Carnival Firenze in 2025.

According to a statement sent to guests, the sailings departing from Long Beach on Feb. 25, Apr. 22 and May 6, 2025, will now operate with a different schedule.

The order of port visits has been reversed with adjusted port times for Cabo San Lucas, Carnival explained.

“Additionally, the return time to Long Beach will now be 9:00 AM (instead of 8:00 AM) Pacific Time,” the company continued.

The affected itineraries sail to the Mexican Riviera and feature visits to Cabo San Lucas and Ensenada, in addition to two days at sea.

Prior to sailing, pre-purchased Carnival shore excursions will be automatically adjusted based on the announced changes.

“Thank you for understanding. We look forward to welcoming you onboard for a fun and memorable cruise,” Carnival said.

Sailing on the West Coast on a year-round basis, the Carnival Firenze joined Carnival Cruise Line’s fleet in April 2024.

Originally in service for Costa Cruises, the 2021-built ship is part of the Carnival Fun Italian Style concept, along with its sister ship Carnival Venezia.

Both ships offer a product that mixes Carnival’s signature experiences and service with an Italian flair and unique features.

As part of its deployment schedule, the 4,232-guest vessel offers three- to six-night cruises to Baja California and the Mexican Riviera.

Sailing from Long Beach, the itineraries feature visits to Ensenada and Catalina Island, as well as Cabo San Lucas.

In addition to the Carnival Firenze, Carnival’s fleet on the West Coast includes the Carnival Radiance and the Carnival Panorama sailing from Long Beach on a year-round basis.

The company also operates seasonal cruise programs from the port of San Francisco, with itineraries sailing to Alaska and Mexico.
