TUI Cruises has announced that it will offer music-themed cruises in 2025.
The company said in a press release that it will offer a 10-day Beatles-themed voyage from August to September, an ABBA-themed seven-day voyage in October and a Shanty-themed 10-day voyage in May.
“Take a Chance at Sea – a Tribute to ABBA,” from Oct. 17, 2025, to Oct. 24, 2025, will feature artists from One Night with ABBA. The artists will perform the greatest hits of Agnetha, Björn, Benny and Anni-Frid.
The seven-day trip on the Mein Schiff 5 will lead through Greece and combine cultural highlights with musical experiences.
The company added that the music of the Fab Four will live on onboard the Mein Schiff 3. From Bremerhaven, guests will explore Great Britain with Belfast, Greenock/Edinburgh and Southampton from Aug. 24, 2025, to Sep. 3, 2025.
The musical highlights on “My Ship in Beat Fever”, the 10-day Beatles-themed trip, will include the Swedish band Pepperland. Love The Beatles, a tribute band from Birmingham, will also perform.
In addition, the Mein Schiff 3 will offer a 10-day “Shanty-Ahoy” themed trip from May 14, 2025, to May 24, 2025, from Bremerhaven. The ship will take guests to Great Britain, and offer stops in Invergordon, Liverpool and Edinburgh, among others.
The shanty, known as the work song of sailors, plays a major role in the Mein Schiff fleet, the company added. The crew regularly sings the most famous shanties together with the guests.
On board, guests can expect a musical program that celebrates the tradition of sea shanties in all its diversity.
Scottish singer-songwriter Nathan Evans will bring his world-famous song “Wellerman” and other modern shanty interpretations to the trip. Joining him will be Kimber’s Men and local shanty choirs.
The voyages are available with a balcony cabin for double occupancy in the PRO tariff with the Mein Schiff Premium inclusive services. They include an early bird discount until Jan. 31, 2025.
