Seabourn has announced that the Seabourn Quest will make her maiden arrival in Alaska as the ship will sail on 18 seven-day itineraries starting in May between Vancouver and Juneau.
“Alaska is a destination that evokes awe and wonder, and our 2025 season is designed to immerse our guests in its unparalleled beauty and cultural heritage in a way that only Seabourn can provide,” said Mark Tamis, president of Seabourn.
The company said in a press release that the Seabourn Quest’s 2025 Alaska season will feature Ventures by Seabourn, which are optional excursions offering expedition-style adventures.
Available on all Alaska sailings, the program will include explorations of Hubbard Glacier, Tracy/Endicott Arm, the Ionian Islands, Rudyerd Bay (Misty Fjords) and Alert Bay. Excursions will be led by the ship’s expedition team.
Featured excursions include kayaking Hubbard Glacier, hiking through the Rainbow Trail to the Rainbow Falls and traveling by Zodiac through Tracy Arm to Sawyer Glacier, or Dawes Glacier on Endicott Arm.
The Seabourn Quest will sail to Alaska’s smaller ports, with itinerary highlights including Seymour Narrows, Stikine Strait, Snow Pass, the Behm Cana, Ketchikan, Sitka, Wrangell, Alaska and Prince Rupert and Alert Bay.
According to the press release, each sailing will include at least one cruise of glaciers. The northbound and southbound voyages can be combined to create a longer 14-day roundtrip Vancouver experience.
Alaska’s 2025 season also marks the final cruise season of Cruise Director Jan Stearman before her retirement. Her final voyage will be on the Seabourn Quest’s seven-day “Alaska Fjords & Canadian Inside Passage” embarking on Aug. 1, 2025.
Seabourn said that with the Seattle Connector Package, guests can fly into Seattle the day before their cruise and stay at the Fairmont Olympic Hotel.
Select Alaska voyages qualify for Seabourn’s “The Sail of the Year Event” promotion. The promotion is available through Feb. 18, 2025.
