Resorts World Cruises will deploy Resorts World One as its first cruise ship homeported in Mumbai, India, from March 5 to June 1, 2025.
Sailing from the new Mumbai International Cruise Terminal at Ballard Pier Extension (BPX), the ship will offer three weekly roundtrip itineraries:
- Two-night Weekend High Seas Cruise (Friday departures)
- Three-night Lakshadweep Cruise to Agatti Island (Sunday departures)
- Two-night Goa Cruise (Wednesday departures)
“In support of the recently announced “Cruise Bharat Mission” by the Indian Government and the new world-class Mumbai International Cruise Terminal, we are excited to further boost India’s cruise tourism sector and bring the Resorts World One cruise ship to homeport in Mumbai,” said Michael Goh, president of Resorts World Cruises. “Mumbai is the main gateway to cruising in India and Indians will have the convenience of departing from their ‘doorsteps’, without the need to fly to another country”, he added.
The Lakshadweep Cruise departs Mumbai at 9 p.m After a day at sea, the ship arrives at Agatti Island on Tuesday morning. Guests can enjoy snorkeling, scuba diving, glass-bottom boat tours, beach walks and local seafood. The ship returns to Mumbai by 4 p.m. on Wednesday.
The Goa Cruise sails from Mumbai at 10 p.m., arriving in Goa on Thursday. Passengers can explore the region’s beaches and cuisine before the ship returns to Mumbai on Friday.
The Weekend High Seas Cruise departs Mumbai at 9 p.m. and returns by 1 p.m. on Sunday. While at sea, travelers can enjoy onboard entertainment, dining across 18 restaurants, recreational activities like spas and more.
