The MSC Magnifica recently kicked off MSC Cruises’ 2025 World Voyage. Sailing roundtrip from Italy, the 120-night cruise is set to visit over 45 ports.
After departing from Civitavecchia, the itinerary included visits to Genoa, Marseille and Barcelona, where guests could also start the cruise.
The worldwide adventure is now set to cross the Atlantic ahead of visiting destinations in South America and Patagonia.
On its way to the Pacific, the MSC Magnifica is also scheduled to sail around Cape Horn before visiting ports of call in Chile.
Following a stop in Easter Island, the vessel is set to arrive in French Polynesia for visits to Papeete and Moorea.
MSC’s world cruise continues with ports of call in the Cook Islands and New Zealand, including Rarotonga, Bay of Islands and Auckland.
The MSC Magnifica is also set to offer scenic cruising at Fiordland National Park before sailing to Tasmania and eight other destinations in Australia.
On its way back to Europe, the 2010-built vessel is also scheduled to sail to ports in the Indian Ocean, Africa and the Atlantic, such as Male in the Maldives and Mahé in the Seychelles.
Other planned destinations for this segment of the itinerary include Nosy Be in Madagascar, Port Elizabeth in South Africa and Walvis Bay in Namibia.
Before returning to Civitavecchia on May 4, 2025, the world cruise sails to Senegal, the Canary Islands and Sicily with visits to Dakar, Puerto del Rosario and Palermo.
Taking over the itinerary from the MSC Poesia, the MSC Magnifica recently returned to Europe after a year-round program in the United States.
Before embarking on the world cruise, the 2,550-guest vessel underwent a routine drydock at the Palumbo Shipyard in Malta.
After a summer program in the Mediterranean, the Magnifica is set to offer a new global voyage in early 2026.
