The Insignia recently welcomed guests onboard in Miami for Oceania Cruises’ 2025 Around the World Cruise.

Sailing to nearly 90 ports of call in 32 countries, the 180-night voyage is one of the longest cruises being offered this year.

According to Oceania, the itinerary is highlighted by exotic destinations around the globe, such as the Amazon, Africa and the South Pacific.

The cruise also features multi-day stays in 21 destinations, including Rio de Janeiro in Brazil, Buenos Aires in Argentina, Walvis Bay in Namibia, Mahé in the Seychelles, Bali in Indonesia and Auckland in New Zealand.

After departing from Florida, passengers will spend several weeks in South America before crossing the Atlantic on their way to Africa.

The itinerary then features visits to destinations in Africa and the Indian Ocean, including Cape Town, Mossel Bay, Maputo, Diego Suarez and La Digue.

Continuing its east-to-west world circumnavigation, the Insignia is set to spend over a month exploring Southeast Asia, sailing to ports of call in Thailand, Malaysia, Vietnam, Cambodia, Indonesia and more.

Other highlights of the itinerary include destinations on Australia’s coast, such as Margaret River, Esperance and Albany.

After visits to New Zealand, the cruise continues with destinations in the South Pacific before heading to Hawaii.

The Insignia is set to conclude its six-month world journey on July 3, 2025, at the Port of San Diego in California.

Passengers can remain onboard the 684-guest ship for an additional 20 days, combining the 180-day sailing with a Panama Canal sailing that ends in New York City in late July.

In 2026, Oceania’s Around the World Cruise will be offered onboard the new Vista, which entered service in 2023.

Larger than the Insignia, the 1,200-guest ship will embark on the itinerary for the first time on Jan. 6, 2026.
