Holland America Line is teaming up with the game show “Wheel of Fortune” to launch its inaugural “Cruise Week,” taking place January 13-17, according to a press release.
During Cruise Week, “Wheel of Fortune” episodes will highlight a different destination each day, showcasing Alaska, the Mediterranean and Northern Europe. Contestants will have the chance to win seven-day sailings for two to these destinations.
“As a company that has been sailing for more than 150 years, we continue to innovate ways that meaningfully reach our guests,” said Kacy Cole, chief marketing officer at Holland America Line. “By creating our own Cruise Week and partnering with a celebrated show like ‘Wheel of Fortune,’ our sponsorship allows us to connect with a captivated audience who are both avid Holland America Line cruisers and new to our brand. We look forward to showcasing our global destinations on one of the most iconic wheels in the world.”
The prizes, valued at $7,000-$9,000, will be featured in several “Wheel of Fortune” segments during Cruise Week, including the Wedge, Third Round Prize Puzzles, At-Home Sweepstakes and Fan Friday.
Prizes include:
- Monday, January 13: Seven-day Alaska cruise
- Tuesday, January 14: Seven-day Mediterranean cruise
- Wednesday, January 15: Seven-day Canada and New England cruise
- Thursday, January 16: Seven-day Northern Europe cruise
- Friday, January 17: Seven-day Caribbean cruise
During “Wheel of Fortune,” the set will feature a nautical theme, including a port-like design with Holland America Line flags, a ship pier backdrop behind the contestants and the company’s branded logo displayed throughout.
As part of the event, the line is enhancing its wave season Start Your Journey Sale by introducing a limited-time $25 deposit offer, along with savings on cruises worldwide. Guests booking a cruise or Cruisetour from January 13-20, 2025, can enjoy $25 deposits on select voyages from summer 2025 through spring 2026. The sale also includes balcony upgrades, bonus perks and reduced deposits.
