The Carnival Pride has recently sailed from Baltimore for a 14-night cruise to the Panama Canal and Central America.
As part of Carnival Cruise Line’s Carnival Journeys program, the unique itinerary departed from Maryland on Jan. 12, 2025.
Before returning to its homeport, the Carnival Pride is scheduled to visit destinations in the Bahamas, Jamaica, Costa Rica, Panama and Turks & Caicos.
The itinerary is highlighted by a visit to Colón, from where guests will be able to visit the Panama Canal and its locks.
In addition to the port and eight days cruising in the Caribbean, the cruise features stops in Ocho Rios, Puerto Limón and Grand Turk.
The Carnival Pride is also set to make a visit to Carnival Corporation’s private island in the Bahamas, Half Moon Cay.
Described by Carnival Cruise Line as special cruises, the Carnival Journeys feature longer itineraries that sail to less-traveled routes.
According to the company, the product includes a set of enriching experiences onboard, in addition to a “classic cruising feel.”
In late January, the Carnival Pride resumes its regular schedule of seven-night cruises to destinations in the Bahamas.
The deployment includes visits to Nassau, Freeport and the private destinations of Half Moon Cay or Princess Cays. On selected dates, the 2001-built ship sails to Grand Turk as well.
Starting in early May, the schedule includes seven-night cruises to Bermuda that make overnight visits to King’s Wharf.
The Carnival Pride also offers additional Carnival Journeys sailings in 2025, including two 14-night cruises to Greenland and Canada in May and August.
In November, the 2,124-guest ship is set to explore the Southern Caribbean as part of a 14-night cruise to St. Thomas, St. Maarten, St. Kitts, Aruba, Curaçao and Grand Turk.
A similar two-week itinerary to the Panama Canal and Central America is part of the vessel’s schedule for January 2026.
