Mein Schiff Herz Set for Drydock Upgrades

TUI’s Mein Schiff 2 has officially been renamed Mein Schiff Herz, and is set for a two-week drydock stay in Marseille in February for a number of updates.

In addition to a hull and machinery work, TUI will take the opportunity to overhaul a number of interior spaces, according to the cruise line.

The ship’s X-Lounge will get a new look, as will all junior suites, the shore excursion department and the Anckelmannsplatz restaurant.

In addition the brand will debut its Italian restaurant, La Spezia, featuring fine dining, with a culinary concept created by award-winning celebrity chef Theodor Falser.
