Carnival Cruise Line’s Venezia is soon departing New York City for a repositioning cruise to Port Canaveral.
After over one year sailing from the Manhattan Cruise Terminal, the vessel is scheduled to spend the upcoming winter season in Florida.
For its repositioning voyage, the Venezia is scheduled to sail a 12-night cruise to the Eastern and Southern Caribbean.
Set to start on Dec. 6, 2024, the itinerary features visits to St. Thomas, St. Croix, Aruba, Curaçao and Grand Turk before arriving in Port Canaveral.
Following a four-night sailing to the Bahamas, the Carnival Venezia embarks on a series of seven- to 14-night cruises from Central Florida.
The deployment includes itineraries to the Western, Eastern and Southern Caribbean, visiting a mix of regional destinations.
Among the ports of call being visited by the ship are Cartagena de Indias in Colombia, Cozumel in Mexico, San Juan in Puerto Rico and Montego Bay in Jamaica.
The season is highlighted by Carnival Journeys sailings, including a 14-day cruise to the Panama Canal and Central America.
The cruise in late February includes visits to Grand Turk, Aruba, Curaçao, Cartagena, Colón, Puerto Limón and Grand Cayman.
Initially built for Costa Cruises, the Carnival Venezia was transferred to the fleet of Carnival Cruise Line in 2023.
After a refurbishment in Spain, the ship arrived in New York City for a year-round deployment in mid-June.
Offering Carnival’s new “Carnival Fun Italian Style” concept, the Venezia offered a series of four- to 15-night cruises to Bermuda, the Caribbean, the Bahamas, Canada and New England.
After completing its winter season in Port Canaveral, the 2019-built ship is scheduled to return to New York City in late May.
Before returning to Florida for the 2025-26 season, the vessel offers a series of four- to 12-night summer cruises departing from the Manhattan Cruise Terminal.
