MSC Divina Arrives in Miami for Winter Season

MSC Divina in Miami

The MSC Divina recently arrived in PortMiami to kick off the first cruise of its 2024-25 winter season in North America.

After completing a summer program in the Eastern Mediterranean, the MSC Cruises vessel crossed the Atlantic with no guests onboard.

Following a technical call in Las Palmas, Spain, the 3,500-guest ship docked in its South Florida homeport on Nov. 15, 2024.

To open the season, the MSC Divina departed on a three-night cruise to the Bahamas that features visits to Nassau and Ocean Cay, MSC’s private island destination near Bimini.

The 2012-built ship is now scheduled to offer a series of four- to 14-night cruises to the Caribbean and the Bahamas that run through early April 2025.

In addition to short cruises to the Bahamas, the deployment includes longer cruises to the Southern and Eastern Caribbean.

As part of one of these longer itineraries, the MSC Divina is scheduled to depart from Miami on March 14, 2025.

Sailing to the Southern Caribbean, the vessel is set to visit Puerto Plata, Ocho Rios, Ocean Cay, Aruba and Curaçao before returning to Florida ten days later.

Other ports of call featured in the ship’s winter program include St. Maarten, Antigua, Freeport, St. Thomas and more.

The MSC Divina is one of five MSC Cruises ships scheduled to sail from U.S. ports during the 2024-25 season.

Other vessels sailing from Miami include the MSC Seaside and the MSC Seascape, which is based in North America on a year-round basis.

The MSC Seashore is also scheduled to continue its operations from Port Canaveral, while the MSC Meraviglia sails from New York City.

In April 2025, the new MSC World America is also scheduled to make its debut in the region, offering itineraries from MSC’s new cruise terminal in PortMiami.
