Seabourn Announces Additional 2026 Antarctica Sailing

Seabourn Venture

Seabourn is adding a new Antarctica expedition to its 2025-26 deployment, the company announced in a press release.

Scheduled for March 10, 2026, the 11-day cruise will sail onboard the Seabourn Venture and is already available for bookings.

According to Seabourn, the new expedition was added due to popular demand and offers guests a new opportunity to experience The White Continent.

“Exploring Antarctica in March offers a unique opportunity to witness the stunning landscapes as they transition into winter. This period is ideal for observing peak whale activity, with potential sightings of humpback whales and orcas, along with gentoo penguins and Antarctic fur seals,” said Robin West, Seabourn’s Vice President and General Manager of Expeditions.

“Our Antarctica expedition voyages are incredibly popular, and we encourage guests to seize this chance to experience this remarkable continent and learn about the historic voyages of renowned explorers James Weddell, Otto Nordenskjöld and Fabian Gottlieb von Bellingshausen.”

Between November 2025 and March 2026, the Seabourn Venture and the Seabourn Pursuit will offer a series of 11-, 13- and 21-day voyages to Antarctica.

All expeditions include a pre-cruise charter hotel stay in Buenos Aires, Seabourn said, as well as roundtrip charter flights to Ushuaia, from where the ships will depart.

According to the company, the cruises to Antarctica also feature Zodiac outings, in addition to optional kayaking and submarine excursions.

Planned itineraries include visits to Lemaire Channel, Deception Island and Neko Harbour, among other places in the region.

Passengers also receive a complimentary Helly Hansen PolarShield parka, featuring an outer shell and a removable insulator puff jacket, in addition to an WaterShield waterproof backpack.

Seabourn’s Antarctica expedition voyages will also offer the new ‘Image Masters’ program, which is described by the company as a hands-on masterclass designed to sharpen the camerawork of guests via an intimate photography workshop.

The program will provide in-the-field instruction on photo composition, camera technique, editing and retouching led by onboard nature photographers.
