Royal Caribbean Names New Vice President and Managing Director of APAC

Chad Grospe

Royal Caribbean International announced the appointment of Chad Grospe as the new vice president and managing director for Asia-Pacific, according to a press release.

Grospe joined Royal Caribbean in 2017 and most recently led the international marketing team, supporting efforts across the Asia-Pacific, Australia and New Zealand, Europe, Middle East and Africa, Latin America and the Caribbean.

Angie Stephen, senior vice president, International, Royal Caribbean International, said: “With his vision, deep industry knowledge, and proven experience working across international markets at Royal Caribbean, Chad is the right leader to continue the growth and success of the world’s largest and most loved cruise line in Asia. The future is bright for Royal Caribbean, and Chad and the Asia-Pacific team will be key to delivering millions of world-class vacations we bring to life around the world.”

Grospe added: “I’m thrilled to join and lead the team in Asia-Pacific to build on the record-breaking business and accomplishments that Angie Stephen, now senior vice president of International, and the organization achieved.

“It’s a pivotal time as the industry continues to grow across the region. Many of the world’s most sought-after destinations and experiences are in Asia-Pacific, and Royal Caribbean has set the stage with award-winning ships and locales that will meet that growth across the region, with more memorable holidays for families and friends locally and from across the globe. The Asia-Pacific region holds immense potential, and I am excited to work closely with our talented team to push the envelope of what’s possible in the vacation industry. On a personal note, my family and I are eager to immerse ourselves in the vibrant culture of Asia.”
