MSC Cruises announced a partnership with Apple Original Films for the upcoming Formula 1 movie ‘F1,’ starring Brad Pitt, according to a press release.
Set for a global release in June 2025, the film will feature the MSC Cruises logo, appearing on the fictional APXGP car, team kit and race tracks included in the storyline.
Brad Pitt stars as a former driver returning to Formula 1 and APXGP, with Damson Idris playing his teammate at the fictional team.
The movie has been filmed during actual Grand Prix weekends worldwide, as the fictional team competes against the real major players in car racing.
MSC Cruises is a Formula 1® Global Partner, having entered a multi-year deal running until the end of the 2026 FIA Formula 1 World Championship.
The partnership brings together two global leaders in their respective fields to drive change through their shared passion for excellence, sustainability, and global entertainment.
The movie will be released internationally by Warner Bros Pictures in cinemas, theaters and IMAX on June 25, 2025, and in North America on June 27, 2025.
The cast of ‘F1’ also includes Academy Award nominee Kerry Condon, Academy Award winner Javier Bardem, Emmy Award winner and Golden Globe Award nominee Tobias Menzies, Sarah Niles, Kim Bodnia and Samson Kayo.
The movie is produced by Jerry Bruckheimer and directed by Joseph Kosinski.
