Margaritaville at Sea Expands Heroes Sail Free Offer

Islander in Tampa

Margaritaville at Sea is expanding its Heroes Sail Free program to offer a limited number of free double-occupancy cabins for qualifying Heroes and their guests on all 2024-25 sailings, including the new Margaritaville at Sea Islander.

This expansion allows U.S. military service members (active duty and veterans), police, firefighters, EMS personnel, nurses, and educators to sail on Caribbean, Mexico, and Bahamas cruises for only the cost of taxes, fees and port expenses, the company said.

“We are committed to continuing to be the best cruise line for our Heroes. By expanding the program to all ships and all destinations, including the all-new Islander, we are reaffirming our commitment to the tens of thousands of Heroes who have sailed with Margaritaville at Sea by giving them even more options to sail with us more frequently,” said Christopher Ivy, CEO of Margaritaville at Sea.

Margaritaville at Sea’s “Heroes Sail Free” program launched in 2022 in partnership with GovX.com. Previously, Heroes could sail once per year on two-night Bahamas cruises from Palm Beach. The program now offers unlimited sailings throughout the year on all available itineraries, including three-, four-, five-, six-, and seven-night vacations. Additionally, those who qualify for the program will also enjoy a 20 percent discount for bookings where free cabins are sold out or a different stateroom type is desired.
