Holland America Announces Segmented Grand Voyages

Volendam

Holland America Line is offering cruisers the chance to book segments of the 2025 Grand World Voyage or Grand Voyage: Pole to Pole starting from $169 per day, according to a press release.

Guests can choose from seven segments on the Grand Voyage: Pole to Pole tour sailing aboard the Volendam (33 to 100 days) or six segments on Zuiderdam’s Grand World Voyage (20 to 55 days).

“Our Grand Voyages are something our dedicated guests come back for every year while also attracting new guests who are eager to explore the world, but at over four months we recognize that not everyone has that time,” said Paul Grigsby, vice president of deployment and itinerary planning for Holland America Line. “By booking one of our 2025 Grand Voyage segments, cruisers can get a taste of the special atmosphere and community aboard these sailings at an incredible value.”

Guests on the Grand World Voyage can sail from Fort Lauderdale to destinations like Singapore, Sydney, Athens, Cape Town and back to Fort Lauderdale.

The Grand Voyage: Pole to Pole offers segments from Fort Lauderdale to Buenos Aires, Buenos Aires to Barcelona or Amsterdam and from Amsterdam or Barcelona back to Fort Lauderdale.

Highlighted segments:

  • 55-day Fort Lauderdale to Singapore aboard the Zuiderdam, Jan. 4 — March 1, 2025
  • 20-day Athens to Fort Lauderdale, aboard the Zuiderdam, April 19 — May 9, 2025
  • 47-day Fort Lauderdale to Buenos Aires aboard the Volendam, Jan. 25 — March 13, 2025
  • 33-Day Ijmuiden (Amsterdam) to Fort Lauderdale, May 5 — June 7, 2025.

Guests on the full or segmented Grand Voyages will enjoy Holland America Line’s exclusive entertainment and enrichment program, featuring 15 new production shows, comedians, local performers and resident musicians.

Culinary experiences include guest chefs who will offer live cooking demonstrations, “coffee chats,” and signature dishes in both the main Dining Room and Pinnacle Grill.

Additionally, the Zuiderdam and Volendam will meet in Barcelona on April 24, 2025, during the Grand Voyages. The event will be marked by Catalan-themed gala dinners and a special drone show.
