AIDA Cruises announced that it will again be the main sponsor of the Hanse Sail Rostock 2024, taking place from August 8 to 11, according to a press release.
At the event, the cruise line will showcase the AIDAmar and AIDAdiva in Warnemünde on Friday and Saturday. Onshore, AIDA will present its vacation offerings at two city harbor locations: a 600 m² area on the Haedge peninsula and the silo terraces at AIDA Cruises’ headquarters. Attendees can participate in a raffle to win a €3,000 travel voucher.
“Rostock and AIDA Cruises have been inextricably linked for almost three decades. Our ships travel to the most beautiful ports in the world, but our company has its home port here in Rostock. We are delighted to be the main sponsor of the 33rd Hanse Sail again this year, helping to provide further important growth impetus for Rostock as a cruise location and for tourism in Mecklenburg-Vorpommern across generations and nations,” said Dirk Inger, senior vice president of public affairs, communication and sustainability at the opening press conference of the Hanse Sail 2024.
Visitors can sample the AIDA vacation world at the Haedge peninsula during the Hanse Sail event, with views of traditional sailing ships. Attractions include refreshments, live music from AIDAradio and opportunities to explore AIDA’s ships and book future trips. AIDA’s area will be open daily from 10:00 am, with extended hours on Thursday until 10:30 pm, Friday and Saturday until midnight, and Sunday until 8:00 pm.
Cruise enthusiasts of all ages will be greeted by AIDA vacation experts and treated to a range of surprises and entertainment. Visitors can relax in AIDA deckchairs and book their next AIDA vacation on-site.
