Royal Caribbean’s Utopia to Visit CocoCay Twice on Same Cruise

Utopia of the Seas

Royal Caribbean International has changed an itinerary of a 2025 cruise onboard the Utopia of the Seas to include a second visit to its private island, Perfect Day at CocoCay.

As part of the ship’s schedule of short cruises to the Bahamas, the voyage is set to depart from Port Canaveral on Feb. 3, 2025.

According to a statement sent to booked guests, the cruise’s itinerary will now feature two visits to the port of call, as well as a previously scheduled visit to Nassau.

“To provide you with the best experience, we’ve added an additional visit to Perfect Day at CocoCay, and we’re so excited to visit this destination with you twice,” the company said in the letter.

The second stop at Perfect Day at CocoCay replaces a day at sea. To accommodate the change, Royal Caribbean also moved a visit to Nassau, which is now scheduled for the third day of the cruise.

“We’ve also added an extra hour for you to explore everything there is to do in this beautiful destination,” the company said about Nassau.

The statement also underlined CocoCay’s features, which are said to include overwater cabanas and the largest freshwater swimming pool in the Caribbean.

Other highlights include one of the tallest waterslides in North America, as well as an adventure water park.

After being delivered by the Chantiers de l’Atlantique shipyard in June, the new Utopia of the Seas is set to enter service for Royal Caribbean on July 19, 2024.

The ship is part of the company’s Oasis class, the 5,714-guest vessel will offer a year-round program of short cruises to the Bahamas.

Most of the three- and four-night itineraries sail from Port Canaveral and feature visits to both Nassau and Perfect Day at CocoCay.
