Returning to Taiwan for its second year, the Resorts World One set sail from Keelung on Friday, July 12, marking the start of its summer sailings from Keelung and Kaohsiung.
To celebrate the ship’s inaugural voyage from Keelung, Resorts World Cruises’ President Michael Goh, VP of Sales Victoria Hsu and Captain Johan Bohman welcomed Lu Zhan You, VP of administration at Taiwan International Ports Corporation Limited (TIPC), for a sold-out cruise with over 3,600 passengers and crew.
From July 12 through September 22, 2024, the ship will depart twice a week from 12 to offer roundtrip cruises to Kyushu and Okinawa in Japan.
Passengers can enjoy the two-night Okinawa Weekend Getaway Cruise departing every Friday; and the five-night cruises departing every Sunday from Keelung to multiple destinations, including Kumamoto, Kagoshima, Sasebo, Nagasaki, Naha, Miyakojima, Ishigaki and Motobu.
Select Okinawa Cruises will also be available from Kaohsiung from August 18, 2024 onwards. The Resorts World One is expected to sail 24 cruises during the three-month homeport deployment.
