RED Hospitality and Leisure is entering the cruise industry, the company announced in a prepared statement.
A provider of luxury watersports and resort services, RED plans to offer shore excursions to cruise guests across key ports of call in the Americas.
“As demand for cruising continues to grow, the need for additional shore excursion operators does as well, driven by cruise passengers and travelers alike who continue to seek out local experiences,” the company said.
RED Hospitality manages a fleet of over 90 vessels that provide daily tours and activities for leisure and group passengers across destinations such as Key West, St. Thomas, St. John, Maui and Turks and Caicos.
“RED is thrilled to expand our footprint from the traditional operating model servicing world-class resort guests, by further extending our offerings to the cruise ship industry. Our teams deliver exceptional experiences to guests every day, which allows them to explore the local areas both above and below sea level, immersing them into the region they’re visiting,” said Jason Campbell, RED’s Senior Vice President of Corporate and Business Development.
“Additionally, we believe our robust development pipeline, which consists of six additional catamarans we have under construction, will allow us to scale further with our global cruise line partners as they continue to deliver and deploy more world-class vessels to our destinations,” he added.
According to RED, its signature hospitality offerings are delivered onboard custom-built, 65-foot catamarans equipped for up to 100 passengers.
The trip blueprints consist of routes to local coral reefs for snorkeling, sunset sails and plated dinner cruises with premium open bars.
RED Hospitality and Leisure has begun to offer its new shore excursions program in Florida and plans to launch in Hawaii and USVI later this quarter as well.
