Peter Deer

Fred. Olsen Cruise Lines announced in a press release that Peter Deer has stepped down from his role as chief financial officer.

Deer, who joined the company in 2004, has held various positions over the years. Notably, he led the company through the COVID-19 pandemic and played a crucial role in acquiring the fleet’s newest ships, the Bolette and Borealis.

Samantha Stimpson, CEO at Fred. Olsen Cruise Lines, said: “I am grateful to Pete for his significant contribution to the business over his 20-year tenure, and specifically the guidance he has offered since I joined the business in February.

“I wish him a relaxing summer and a prosperous future career, as my team and I continue to grow and modernize Fred. Olsen Cruise Lines.”
