Neuron Launches ‘Zero-Touch’ iOS App for QoE

Neuron has launched the Neuron Pulse app for iOS, enabling “zero-touch” Quality of Experience (QoE) measurement and monitoring from any iOS device, according to a press release.

The app allows customers to monitor connectivity performance and QoE across their operations, offering an independent view of the digital experience on each ship, plane, or remote site, the company said.

“We built the Neuron Pulse ‘Zero-Touch’ iOS app with the end-user in mind, aiming to provide a seamless experience for our customers and their crew,” said Jonathan Kader, vice president of product at Neuron. “By eliminating the need for manual input and using automatic data collection, the crew can focus on safety and taking care of their customers, while the app does the work of capturing the data our customers need to enhance their digital operations.”

Utilizing AI and machine learning, the Neuron Pulse automatically gathers specific aircraft or vessel information without manual input, such as flight numbers and route details, to label and correlate connectivity performance and QoE data. This data is then translated into analytics dashboards accessible through the Neuron portal. The app measures and monitors QoE when connected to the target network and does not collect any personal data from crew or passengers, the company added.
