Fred. Olsen Cruise Lines’ Bolette will embark on its maiden world tour “Voyage of Exploration Around the World” in January 2025, according to a company statement.
Sailing roundtrip from Liverpool on January 4, guests on the 110-night voyage will explore destinations such as Brazil, Chile, French Polynesia, Australia and South Africa, among others.
Highlights include discovering Chile’s landscapes, exploring landmarks like the Opera House, Uluru and the Great Barrier Reef in Australia, and embarking on a safari to encounter Africa’s Big Five.
Clare Ward, director of product and customer services at Fred. Olsen Cruise Lines, said: “We’re incredibly proud to once again be able to offer World Cruise departures from Liverpool.
“We know how much our guests value being able to explore the world, and what’s better than being able to set sail right from their doorstep?
“Our team is passionate about taking our guests to visit the furthest corners of the globe and experience a variety of unique cultures.
“This World Cruise will see Bolette sail through the Magellan Strait taking in Easter Island, idyllic Tahitian islands and iconic Australian cities, before heading on to Africa where guests can seek out wildlife on a safari or visit South Africa’s vineyards.”
Fred. Olsen Cruise Lines has also unveiled two shorter cruises as part of the world voyage.
Both setting sail from Liverpool on January 4, guests can either embark on a 58-night ‘South America and the Pacific Islands’ cruise or the 87-night exploration of ‘South America and Australia’.
The 58-night cruise to Sydney includes a post-cruise hotel stay before flying back to London Heathrow.
